Our family trip to Georgia started out with a two hour drive to Brandon's house arriving in the dead of the night so happy to see BDog and his cute house. We crawled into our beds with dreams of The Waffle House for breakfast.The next morning, with our tummies full of grits, real hashbrowns and chocolate waffles we headed back into Atlanta. Our first stop was Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield. Followed by a lovely drive through historic homes to Marietta, Georgia. Already we were all excited about the Civil War history we were learning.
