Brown Paper Packages,Tied Up With String...
These are a few of my favorite things.
I don't have any packages tied up with string, but next year I will. It's not even Christmas 2009 and I am already planning my wrapping technique for next year!
Here are my favorite things around the house this year though. I love Christmas and decorations. I know I already posted about my tree, forgive me or just skip this post if you want. Here goes...
1.My tree, oh, I love it.
2.My latest ornament. I bought a bunch of old Bingo cards at my favorite antique store and had to hang one on the tree.
3.Our friend Brad made us an Advent log like Jacy had when he was growing up. We decorated it with our Starbucks mugs that we put up every year in Stephie's honor.
4.Our landlady in Japan hung this wreath on our door for the New Year. I hang it every year for Christmas and New Year.
5.Oranges, we have already gone through about six bags of these.
6.My bed.
7.Todd's tree.
8.Kitchen garland with our metal cookie cutters and cookies..
9.New favorite ornament.
10.Kitchen table tree.
11.Nativity.
12.Our newest tradition is a Jesse tree, or in our case garland. We try to add a new piece of Biblical history leading up the birth of Christ each night. I found a book on Amazon and we cut out the ornaments and decorated them.
13.The gingerbread house.
14.PRESENTS
15.Jacy and I bought this fabric print in Japan. I meant to have it framed, but it is just easier to fold it up and tuck it into the Christmas box every year.
16.My new Hawaii ornament.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
Our family headed to Carpinito's Brothers to get our Christmas tree this year. Todd really liked the flocked trees that Carpinito's always has for sale.
Remember how you use to get flocked trees Auntie Becky? And we would decorate them with an all red theme? I couldn't be convinced to continue that tradition, sorry Todd.
We chose one of these instead.
Love these boys.
Tadaaaaa! I love putting up our special ornaments every year. Here is my newest and most favorite this week.
Merry Christmas!

Something to Remember
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Hot and Cold
Todd plays a racing game on his scooter called zero to sixty and that's kind of what it was like a few moments ago. Here's hoping we can get back to the fun afternoon we were having.
