Little Guys

These are my two favorite pictures from the weekend.

Wylie telling Daddy about the zoo.

Todd showing off his owies, he looks like he has been in quite a brawl with his missing tooth.

Stephie

Stephie was my day late birthday present 26 years ago tomorrow. She is dearly remembered every day with love and laughter.

Happy Birthday to Me

I had the best birthday today (yeah #33)! Jacy took the boys to school and hung out with Wylie until mid morning so I could watch The Golden Girls and linger over laundry and a cup of tea. We picked Todd up at noon and headed to U Village for lunch at Zao, some couch shopping and a Mariners game with Todd's school. It was a great day and I am so sleepy (is it because I am old???).
Oh, and afer months of discussion, saving pennies and color swatch viewing, we ordered our new couch tonight. YEAH!

It's Monday and Monday Means MARISA!

I love having three sweet and happy kiddos in my car. The boys excitedly explained the car wash to her. Are my kids the only kids that think the car wash is incredibly interesting and fun?
My favorite thing about Marisa is that SHE LOVES ME SO MUCH! She is so precious and funny, but I love that when she sees me she turns on a big smile and runs my direction for loves and cuddles. PRECIOUS GIRL!

Kelsey Creek

Our family (and Holms, McCullohs and Auntie Jan) headed to Kelsey Creek after church yesterday. I love to watch my kdis enjoy Sabbath afternoon outside with buddies!

The Spring Fair

The boys and I enjoyed a quick trip to the Puyallup Spring Fair. Fair food, free crafts and fun rides were the hit of the day.

Lazy Weekend at Home

Jacy and I realized last week that we didn't have any big plans for the weekend and we were THRILLED. It is so nice to schedule a nap once in awhile. We are blessed with lots of fun weekend friends and we love eating and playing with them, but this quiet weekend was a treat. So this is what we did.
Celebrated Jacy's bday with a pancake breakfast (and date night for mom and dad).
Went to church.
Napped.
Read our books.
Dyed Easter eggs.
Ate Easter eggs.
Hid Easter eggs.
Turned an old box and some blocks into a pinball machine.
Went to the Klondike Gold Museum.
Ate sushi, yakisoba and bibimbop at Uwijimai(sp?).
Splashed in some big puddles.
Ate Easter dinner with the family.
Played with new light sabers (Happy Easter from Nan).

Yellow Umbrella

Wylie does not like getting his picture taken. I have to work really hard to sneak pictures of him or convince him to pose. Apparently, all he needed to cooperate was an old umbrella he found at Bama and Papa's house. I love these new pictures of him. So precious!

That is so UGLY, it's CUTE!

I was cleaning out Todd's drawers and found a too small pair of holey jeans that were going to go into the garbage can. But wait, what can we do with an old pair of ratty pants? I left the jeans on the kitchen table yesterday and told Todd he could do whatever he wanted to with them. He first cut out two squares to make a bean bag and then decided he wanted an ugly doll. He drew a pattern and waited patiently while I cut and sewed. He added stuffing, eyes and a mouth. Viola, a special little buddy to cozy with.
