Campmeeting

The boys and I have enjoyed a great week of Campmeeting. I love to catch up with old friends, watch my kids play with new ones and enjoy huge shamburgers. I wasn't able to attend any of my own meetings but the boys did and they enjoyed crafts, swimming time and recreation. Until next year.

Catching Up

Jacy and I look forward to seeing some of our favorite people when we head to Cali. This trip we were able to visit with Holly and Ron (we set them up in college and they are living happily ever after) and meet their sweet new baby, Olivia. We enjoyed Friday night Bible study with Jutzys and Wil. I love Wil, we use to meet at Gaby's every Friday night for tacos and Bible study with Wil and the rest of the family. Thanks, Gaby for recreating one of my favorite things about living in CA. And we had a quick breakfast with my good friend Andrea and her cute girlies. Andrea and I used to teach together and I always feel blessed, after I see her, by how easy it is to sit and chat like we use to every day.

Joshua Tree

One word, gorgeous! Joshua Tree was one of our stops in California and I absolutely loved it. The rock formations are immense and amazing.

Swing Time - California Part 1

Don't ever trust a 3rd grader when he says, "come here Auntie Amber, I want to tell you something." He is secretly planning to jump on you off of a swing. I was ready for him with my camera the next time he did it. I got some fun pics of two other cute boys on their swings too.

A Capitol Idea

These cute kids, Nan and I went on a mini adventure today to see the Capitol building in Olympia. When we took our Lewis and Clark trip a few weeks ago, we passed the Capitol and Todd thought it would be cool to check it out. We were also able to meet Auntie Darla for lunch and visit Tumwater Falls Park on the way out of town. The trip was a great way to start our summer adventures.

SUMMERTIME

Summer officially began for us on Friday at 12:01pm, WOOHOO!!! Here is a list of my summer must haves this year. My kids live outdoors in the summer, so we have a bag packed everyday with our outside stuff.
