Oh how I love a book signing. I love books and reading and having copy of a book signed by the author makes me happy. I also love Presidential history, the White House and anything else remotely presidential. So, when I found out Jimmy Carter was in town to sign his latest book, I packed up Wylie and a snack and headed out to see a President of the US in the flesh. Luckily I have a great book lovin' friend who comes and hangs out with me in line at book signings, which makes the whole event that much more fun.
