It's Been Awhile

I completely forgot about my blog. I feel like I need to apologize to it. The last two weeks have been full of LIFE.
Here's the breakdown...
1. The boys and I "did the Puyallup", pictures to follow. It was fun and wet and fun.
2. My sniffer sniffed out a bit of mold that was starting to take over the floorboard in our tiny TV/Office which lead to a complete removal of all furniture, BOOKS, carpet and floor board.
3. My contractor removed the offending mushy boards, re floored, installed carpet, painted and put up floor boards this last weekend. I LOVE MY CONTRACTOR. Jacy (AKA MY CONTRACTOR) and I rearranged things a bit and love our new room. We feel like we were just on an episode of Trading Places, except we didn't have a $2000.00 budget and Jacy did all the work. Wylie's old room is becoming a play/study room. I love it too!
4. We spent lots of time with Nan.
5. My school volunteering went into high gear with a magazine sale that started last week.
6. Wylie and I started preschool play dates once a week with a great 3 year old friend and his sweet Mama.
7. I read some fun books, of course.
8. Papa's garden is producing and we have harvested and eaten to our heart's content.
9. Todd found out the 3rd grade is a lot busier than 2nd grade. HOMEWORK, HOMEWORK, HOMEWORK!
10. I subbed for my favorite teacher ever in first grade and told myself, once again, that I want to be a teacher when I grow up. But first, Todd and Wylie get to slowly grow up before I do again. Thanking God for the chance to spend my days with those two sweet nuggets.
11. Made it through another September 15, thinking about Stephanie and how rotten it is that we are not making new memories with her. Smiled when I thought about all the memories I do have of her and promised myself to enjoy more chick flicks, bake more cookies, listen to my Chantel Kravisiek (sorry Chantel, but you a really hard name to spell) CD and just be sweeter, like her.
I can't think of anything else big, just all sorts of little moments rolled into the blessing of being busy.

Thanks for the update! I am your blog stalker; appreciate your updates. Even though "11" brought sweet, precious tears to my eyes (thank you); miss my baby girl everyday; to think ..she'd probably be writing a blog about her precious nuggets. I feel the same way wishing I was making new memories ... but ... savoring every precious, funny, sweet memory I have of her.
You've had a busy September; can't wait to see your updated room.

I was thinking about Stephanie this month too. Sorry I didn't call to tell you about it. You are a great inspiration to enjoy the little things in life like baking cookies. I think I will do just that and take them to the new neighbors. Love you. BTW, Blog understands when you neglect her. :-)
