Today is career day at Todd's school. He chose to dress up like an actor. He just wants to be Harrison Ford when he grows up! "Mommy, do you know that Harrison Ford was in Indiana Jones
and Star Wars? Isn't that amazing?"
Jacy made him some scripts (Star Wars 12) and he grabbed an old cell phone and a cup of coffee and off he goes. I have always thought Todd would make a great actor because he is so expressive and emotional, sometimes overly emotional and disappointed by what life hands him. I am often encouraging him to have appropriate levels of disappointment when life sends him something less than agreeable. And then this morning my fabulous weekend plans were tossed away and I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! My sweet friend Holly was coming from Cali to spend the weekend. When she called this morning I thought she was telling me that she was at Seatac waiting for her ride, but she was calling from her house to say that she was sick and not coming. DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Grumpy, sad and disappointed. I'm trying to pull myself out of it and I will. On the bright side, my house is cleaner than it normally is on a Friday morning, all my errands are done and I have another visit from Holly to look forward to.
