Todd's class went on a trip to a place called Pioneer Farms yesterday. It was an interesting, hands-on glimpse at pioneer life from a kid's perspective. Todd milked a goat, pounded on a horse shoe, jumped from the hay loft, did some laundry, ground corn and was scolded by a grumpy old school marm. Ah, the good old days.
