Donuts Anyone?

Jacy and I love a good donut. We have our very favorite donut place in our neck of the woods, Chucks. We are competitive about how good Chuck's donuts are, especially the maple bars. Chucks makes their bars with maple frosting not maple glaze and they are heavenly! So when we hear that there is a great place to get donuts we have to go experience them for ourselves. Our trip to Portland last weekend included a drive to VooDoo Donuts to see what they have to offer. Their menu is fun and eclectic and different from anywhere else we have been. I had to try the Tang donut (cake with melted marshmallow cream and Tang sprinkled on top). Todd and Wylie had the Cocoa Crispy donut and Jacy had a maple bar with bacon on top, yes bacon! My donut was fabulous, the boys loved their choices and Jacy enjoyed his bar (not as good as Chuck's but good). If you love donuts as much as we do VooDoo Donut is a must stop next time you are in Portland and a trip to Chuck's wouldn't hurt either.
