Wylie turns 2 this week and we started the celebration early with a monkey themed party for him and our family and some friends. Wylie has not been much of a talker and in the last week he has become down right chatty. It was a special treat to hear him sing "Happy Birthday" and say "tane ewe" for his gifts. I also loved asking him, "who's birthday is it Wylie" and have him answer "meeee". The best part of the evening was Wylie cheerfully giving sweet hugs to people after he opened their gifts. He was happily blessed with lots of trains for his new train table and just seemed so quietly pleased with each gift that he opened.

Wylie, I wish we could've been at your party! Looks like a lot of monkeys gave their lives for the better good. Yummy. I still haven't found you a bday gift... do you need more trains? Or shall I use my imaginagion? I got a fabulous new bird for my newly redecorated powder room for my birthday - one of my fave). I can't wait to hear you sing for me again. Love the pics,
