"It's My First Last Day of School"

Todd announced to me this morning that today was his first last day of school. I love that he has a great sense of accomplishment about this year and is already looking forward to more school milestones.

We started our day at the school and headed to a rainy day of fun at Enchanted Village. Todd is a big fan of fast rides since we enjoyed Disneyland. He made me take him on The Scrambler and I definitely felt scrambled by the time we were done. He also enjoyed all the kiddie rides, especially the frog jump. I included a picture of him and his school buds enjoying that one. He really wanted to go on the roller coaster, but that was a bit out of the question because of Wylie and the long line, so we compromised with a shorter line at the log ride. I put on my poncho and got in line (yes, Auntie Rhonda, I should have brought those Disneyland ponchos home with me). Let me just say that it is not false advertising when a ride has signs up that say, " you are going to get soaked." I did get soaked in every area my Walgreens poncho didn't cover. It was time to go home, I refuse to walk around public with hair that looks like I just got out of a shower. No need to worry though, we will be going back to Enchanted Village for Todd's second last day of school.
