The Best Part of Vegas

The highlight of our trip to Sin City was having a quick visit from our California Nelsons who we love. How sweet to have them drive hours to see us for part of a day and sleep on an air mattress in our hotel. Love them!

Vegas, Baby

Vegas isn't my favorite but I did love my spring break there with the family. I loved our fabulous hotel with incredible pools and a great lazy river. I liked seeing the family friendly strip highlights like M&M world, the MGM lions and the Mandalay Bay aquarium. I liked the bits of sunshine we had. I loved driving to Lake Mead and getting our National Park stamps. I liked Hoover Dam and a quick drive into Arizona, just to say we were there. I loved Red Rock Canyon and how jaw dropping beautiful it was on a windy spring day. And I really loved seeing our California family for a quick 20 hour visit.

We celebrated our 14th year of marriage in Las Vegas.

Don't Faint Auntie Becky, But I Am Blogging...

You know when you say to your self, "Self, you need a little break," thinking you will avoid something for a few days and then 5 months later you are still on a break? Thus the silence from me in blog land. Then my lovely extended family reminded me that they read the blog and enjoy seeing pictures of what we are up to so I will begin again.
