I had a surprise call this morning with the great news that my sweet cousin Kristen had her little boy. He was suppose to arrive next week via C-Section and instead decided to surprise his mama and come today. He is so precious and already well loved by everyone in our family.
Yesterday the kids, Bama and I headed to Sumner for lunch and an afternoon of antiquing and book shopping. Todd is fascinated with "junk" right now and enjoys a trip through an antique store almost as much as I do. He really wanted the bicycle wheel we found and I wanted the kitchen canisters. We said goodbye to them though and headed to the next spot to buy books instead.
Todd and I finished up Vacation Bible School on Friday night. Todd loves VBS and I love helping my friends from my childhood church with the crafts each year. This year we had a "high seas" theme and I snapped a picture of each kiddo for one of our projects. I love Todd's photo, he had the best VBS yet and I love how the pictures captured how happy he was when it was taken.
